Wildlife Safari Kenya, a family-owned and operated East African safari operator wanted to modernise their presence and required an online business solution that profiled their ethos, history, and specific offering.
We enlist our trusted collaboration partners’ help for many project elements, and in this case, we engaged our web design and development partner. We performed a project management role responsible for conceptualisation, planning, and ultimately delivering the desired go-to-market solution. Also, we created all the website content, from planning a photoshoot to sourcing and editing other imagery and creating all the copy.
Style guide and value proposition
We set to work with the Wildlife Safari Kenya owners to develop a clearly defined value proposition for the business, laying the foundation for creating the website content.
The result was the set of concepts; unlimited game viewing; safari guide experience; vehicle quality; 45 years of experience & an African based business. Next, we created a style guide that established the framework for developing all digital collateral.

Website design & development
With nearly five decades of safari experience in East Africa, the business has curated a select range of safari itineraries and needed a website that profiled each of these journeys, the locations they visited and the safari lodges they stayed at along the way.
We designed a website that features a series of crucial landing pages, most notably the safaris itineraries, which we made a primary feature of the homepage, both in the top banner and by integrating a safari feature section with a search tool.
We also created pages for destinations (collectively and individually), safari lodge & hotels (collectively and individually), and an all-important ‘about’ section that features the business’ history, top-quality safari vehicles, and profiles its traveller facing team’s, most notably the safari guides.
We designed two separate enquiry forms, one for generic enquiries, and another for enquiries launched from a specific safari itinerary. We auto-filled relevant enquiry form fields, thus simplifying the process for the user.
Paid search campaigns
To launch the website and drive relevent traffic to it we created a paid search campaign targeting a range of business relevent keywords in each of its key source markets, i.e. North America, UK and Australasia.
At launch we made extensive use of Google’s dynamic ad feature to isolate higher yielding ad elements and refine the targeting in standard text ads. Also, we developed a retargeting campaign using Google display ads.
